Choose the Right Type of Bread For Weight Loss

Have you tried flax seed bread lately? It is a great bread for weight loss and also it is a great source of magnesium, potassium and trace minerals. Flaxseed bread has lots of antioxidants too, which will help regulate your hormonal balance and get your dream figure. When you eat a healthy, whole foods diet with a lot of fresh fruit and vegetables you will notice a great improvement in your energy levels and overall health.

You may have heard that wheat is the healthiest bread, but which is the healthiest one? Which are the "real" wheat breads that actually give you the most nutrition for your dollar? All these questions may be making you hungry for some real answers about weight loss. Let me share with you some of my favorite breads that will improve your diet.

First on my list is rye bread. Yes, it is a rye and can be used in a variety of ways, but mostly as a breakfast cereal or a snack. It has a high fiber content and contains good fats, which will improve your cholesterol levels. Also, it has the most nutrients out of all whole grains. If you combine this food with lots of green vegetables and plenty of leafy green grassy vegetables you can have a low-calorie, heart healthy diet that cuts down your risk for many health problems.

Second on my list is oatmeal. Oatmeal is one of my favorite foods because it makes a delicious breakfast food or a post-workout snack. I find that oatmeal has lots of fiber and protein, which make it a great alternative to junk foods or processed foods. In fact, if you add the meal replacement bars with oatmeal you can cut down on many unhealthy snacks and foods.

Third on my list of healthy bread for weight loss are wholemeal breads. Wholemeal breads contain complex carbohydrates that provide energy to keep your body energized throughout the day. Also, they contain a lot of fiber, which keeps the hunger pangs away. When combined with oatmeal, wholemeal bread provides a delicious, nutritious breakfast that meets your daily goals for weight loss.

Fourth on my list of healthy bread for weight loss are un-refined, wheat-free rye and wheat breads. These types of breads are made with simple carbohydrates, which give the energy to burn fat, but do not include any refined sugars, starch, or high calorie flour. This bread contains no yeast, which will eliminate yeast infections, bloating, gas, and food cravings. Instead, the healthy bacteria that naturally exist in the wheat will keep you feeling full and satisfied for hours.

Fifth on my list of bread for weight loss are the enriched grain, such as: brown rice, quinoa, wild rice, bulgur, or other sprouted grains. These types of grains contain no calories, no fat, no salt, and no carbohydrates. They are rich in vitamins, minerals, fibre, antioxidants, and protein that help build and maintain a healthy body. In addition, they have essential B vitamins and the B-12 vitamin, which helps maintain a healthy nervous system, strong bones, and organs.

Sixth on the healthy list of bread for weight loss are sourdough and cultured breads. The benefits of these kinds of breads are easy to understand. First, they are made with active cultures, which give a smaller stomach and increase the feeling of fullness. Second, when eaten regularly they help regulate blood sugar levels, lower cholesterol, and increase appetite control. Finally, because they contain more fibre, they help slow digestion and eliminate toxins.

Seventh on my list of healthy bread for weight loss are white bread and wheat bread. White bread is made without any nutritional benefit. It contains more calories and less dietary fiber than whole wheat bread and contain mostly hydrogenated oils which make it harmful for your health. Moreover, they have high yeast content which increases the likelihood of developing allergies.

Eighth on my list of healthy bread for weight loss are low calorie slice breads. These products are usually made with high fat ingredients such as butter, cheese and cream. They are lacking in nutritional benefits such as protein, vitamins, carbohydrates, and minerals. On the contrary, they do contain valuable dietary fiber, minerals, and antioxidants which help regulate your blood sugar levels, lower bad cholesterol, and increase your appetite control. Furthermore, they usually have limited carbohydrate contents.

ninth on my list of healthy bread for weight loss are soy products like tofu, soy sauce, and edamame. Soy products are a great source of healthy dietary fiber, protein, vitamins, and minerals. These are also rich in phytochemicals, which help prevent cancer and improve your overall immune system. In short, soy is definitely an excellent choice for bread for your weight loss diet.
